Reading Anarchism

Reading Anarchism is a series of events that examine the anarchist theoretical tradition. Reading Anarchism is part of an extensive art project called Yours in Solidarity in the New Art Space (NASA) in Amsterdam from 9 March until 19 May 2013.

In this project, the Dutch artist Nicoline van Harskamp creates a portrait of supporters of anarchism through analyses of the corrrespondence archive of the late Dutch anarchist Karl Max Kreuger at the IISH. Van Harskamp casted professional actors for the anarchist correspondents she found in Kreugers archive. The resulting video installation, named Yours in Solidarity, suggests what might happen if the international correspondents were to meet today.
